Creating Workflows
Learn how to build workflow diagrams using the visual canvas builder or voice input.
Two Ways to Create
Visual Canvas
Drag and drop nodes onto the canvas, connect them to define flow, and add descriptions to each step.
Voice Input
Describe your workflow verbally and let AI generate the diagram for you automatically.
Node Types
Workflows are made up of different node types, each serving a specific purpose:
Start Node
The beginning of your workflow. Every workflow needs one start node.
Process Node
A step or action in your workflow. Add details about what happens here.
Decision Node
A branching point where the flow can go different directions based on conditions.
End Node
The conclusion of your workflow or a specific path.
Using the Visual Canvas
Add Nodes
Click the "Add Node" button in the toolbar and select the node type. The node will appear on the canvas.
Position Nodes
Drag nodes to arrange them on the canvas. Position them in the order your process flows.
Connect Nodes
Click and drag from one node's output handle to another node's input handle to create connections.
Edit Node Details
Click on a node to open the details panel. Add a label and description for what happens at this step.
Save Your Workflow
Click the "Save" button to save your workflow. Your progress is preserved and you can continue editing later.
Using Voice Input

Tips for Better Workflows
- • Be specific - Add detailed descriptions to each process node
- • Include decision points - Use decision nodes where the flow can branch
- • Name workflows clearly - Use descriptive names for easy identification
- • Start simple - Map one process at a time before combining
- • Think about handoffs - Note when work moves between people or systems
